Compound Chocolate, by definition, is NOT a Chocolate. It is called ‘imitation chocolate’. Pure chocolates necessarily have ‘cocoa butter’, whereas the ‘imitation chocolates’ use fractionated vegetable oils to replace ‘cocoa butter’. Majority brownies, cakes, cookies ice-cream coatings, or chips in biscuits, or the center-fillings in biscuits n candies… are compound chocolate.
Milk compound chocolates are generally, solid chocolate made from cocoa mass, vegetable fat, sugar and milk powder added to it. It has some kind of emulsifier (usually soy lecithin) and natural vanilla. It has smooth, creamy texture with nice sweet and milky taste
